| Event Details: | Discover how adaptations and behaviors of insects, spiders and creatures of the night allow them to survive and thrive in their environments.Homeschoolers will discover how adaptations and behaviors of insects, spiders and creatures of the night allow them to survive and thrive in their environments. Participants will also take a fascinating closer look at butterfly wings, handle insects and herptiles on our Zoology Zone Cart, learn about bees from the Planet Bee Foundation and make seed balls, and learn about live bats from the Pennsylvania Bat Rescue. Experience the presentation, “World of Nightshift Pollinators” by the Butterbee Foundation at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. in the Education Center Classroom. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to participate in all of the activities. For students Kindergarten through Grade 6. ALL INFORMATION IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. |
